creating source maps

Does anyone know what sort of program you have to get in order to build maps for CSS? Just curious how hard it would be.

Never tried Source maps. Cs 1.6 maps were hard as hell though. This link will take to a website with some programs you can use http://www.fpsbanana.com/toolcats/9

It all depends on how complicated you want. The tools are kind of user friendly, but it gets complicated when you want to do anything other than buildings. You need the Source SDK, which you can get for free off steam. Look in the tools section. If you want a really good strategic, good looking map, it will take you a few months ATLEAST!
