There is no draft in affect. There are no plans to initiate one. Our armed forces are far from short of men/women. If something happened that a draft was needed then you can bet the shit would really be hitting the fan. In that case the reasons for the war may be very different so opinions here may be also.

Look we can joke back and forth about the draft and I for one am glad I am basically slipping past the draft age. Getting old has benefits. :D

I, being an old Army grunt,..I have my positve views for the "war". Let us remember 9/11 for a second. Sure,..there's alot of theories out there, of what "actually" happened. Wether a goverment plot to start a big fire,..or what we all saw on tv that day,..was a bunch of "ragheads",..hijack a few plans,..and basically,..wip our ass that day. I can't stomache that. But, I can't stomache, $3.58 a gallon of gas, because, OUR government,..is giving us the shaft, to "fund", this "war". Whatever the reason(s), or your own personal views,...this war is going to last a long time, unless someone finally realizes,..this is pointless. For as long has there been good people, there is and has been, bad people, to ruin the good time. It will always continue. We are humans. We like to f**k, and we like to fight.And,...if there was going to be another draft,..My only regret would be, that I'm too old, and crippled now, to enlist. But,..that is just me. I'd be there at a drop of a dime. I was active duty, durning Desert Shield/Storm,..LLLLOnng time ago. Our government, pulled us out, cause we "thought",..we taught Saddam a lesson. So we let him go. Look what happened. Sure,..this"bin ladden" guy,is our main focus. Okay,..we have spy satellite that can read the time of your watch, at 50 miles, in the sky. And we(the US), can't find this "raghead",..that WE have been onto, for over 20 years! Come on! I love my country,..but I would love for there to be peace. I just used the "draft" issue to create a scenario where I would flee to Canada. I would also flee to canada if and when the "oil crisis" hits....

Die,..what game is that,..on your avatar/profile pic.8800,..is that an Sli/pciExpress video card.? Im old school,..still an AGP type. but my next rig,..is going to be PCIEx...is it bettter than agp,..and what's the real difference. I started out with a pc that was a video card in the pci Slot,..than Agp came along. you can tell a big difference in agp and pci slot video cards. i just dont understand the slots on the motherboadrs for PCI express,..theres the long slot and the short slot. what the SLOT, is going on?

Pci express is a lot better then AGP currently the 8800 is the best video card from nvidia out and the game in my sig is Crysis it is comeing out end of this year it will be the First Direct x 10 fps game out.

PCIEx has 16 pipelines, AGP has 8. Also, All the power the card needs comes through the motherboard so you don't need to hook the card up to the powersupply.
