Well iam trying to set up my mic. I got that all working but i can hear the damn thing through my speakers.

Such as i speak and it comes out my speakers and still records...:(

i think last time you had a sound blaster audio card. If that's the case again check its settings and start unchecking some options. I forget what exactly but there was a setting in there that had everything mixing and you needed to uncheck something.

Sorry so vague but It was years ago and I don't have a soundblaster card to check settings against. LOL

If you are running a different sound card let me know.

i gots a realtek HD audio card bud. I tried doing that and havent figured anything out yet

open your Volume Control and mute the microphone (on the Playback view of course, not the Recording view).

Should be something like that. If Not join vent and keep messing with the settings and youll find it.
