Howdy guys! I can safely assume you all vaguely remember who I am...
and the members that weren't around when I played are probably saying, "wtf mate?" Haha.

To refresh your memory I played Halo 1 for the longest time as an [RS] clan member, usually on strict no-shield servers.
Slowly I converted over to the CSS ways of FPS, along with Johnny Law and TrueAssMaster.

My retirement was forewarned from [RS], seeing as how some technicalities came up, but RAWR :D I'm back to catch up with old friends and maybe reclaim a spot seated next to the sexy throne of Riot Squad.

I'll feel like a total jackass for posting this and noone remembering me....lol..:ba <----- That nanner is sexy.

Haha, nice to see you guys too. I don't think my computer is quite up to par for L4D or BF2, lol... I see CSS has gone to 90% modded servers/rpgs... that's really discouraging X_x;;

Eh, I dunno about that Die. My computer is acting funny now with CSS re-installed. When I pull up CSS, I sometimes can't join servers and my internet connection dies temporarily. If I create my own server with bots, play it for 5-10 minutes, and pull up the server list, then I can connect to actual servers 90% of the time. And I haven't done anything to my PC, but I lag like hell on de_Dust2 and such, never had that problem 4 years ago when I was kicking Johnny's arse (Ha-ha, I told a fib :] )

So I am not necc. sure what the problem is.

Anyone have an insight? :o

What are your specs for your pc ?

I have a standard Dell Desktop that's probably 5-6 years old, witha standard Intel R Graphics card, can't really give you the specific number, but as far as the picture quality of CSS it's fine, I think it has more to do with the modem my DSL is picking up on, I don't think it was built to transfer 3M constantly, whereas it's probably a lower series modem.

I almost have to glitch my internet connection to stay connected xD

Most of us "OLD" timers are still around. Our forums haven't had a lot of action lately but that is good in many ways huh guys?;)

AR2k still plays a lot of halo but most of us only slip on it once a month. As CoolHair said we have moved to other games. Good to see your still kicking maybe we will game some time.

Yes Revenge, I am the Rain from about 4-5 years ago... Loki recruited me,if I recall correctly, although I left on good terms, or so I thought....

Without going into details we had a more recent "rain" in the clan that caused some major issues about 6 months ago. Strange huh you wouldn't think that one clan as small as ours would have two Rain's in its history. It was just odd that you popped back after all this time. I was just playing it safe the more recent "Rain" is no longer welcome here.


Personally I think its great to see an old member swing by and I am glad you did. I look forward to perhaps getting you on vent some time and talking about old times and seeing how life has gone with you since you have been gone. Perhaps if your PC stays running we can get a Halo game in.

Here are two programs that may help your PC:
Malwarebytes.org (http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php) Its a really good PC cleaner and its free. It may get rid off some junk on your PC you didn't know you had.

AND
GameBooster (http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html) - This program shuts down all programs that are not needed to play video games while you game. Then it will start them back up when your done gaming for you.

A lot of members here use both the programs above and will vouch for them.

Yeah that does sound like a nice idea, although I no longer have my Halo PC game =/ Real bummer. I need to purchase another headset too X_x...

As far as my problem with CSS goes, I can't log on to alot of servers, sometimes it just gives me the little gray window with current players, and when I click Join Game i get no results. Other times it will tell me "Connection Failed after 4 Retries" That just baffles me seeing as how my DSL transfers 3Meg :o..... My modem box is pretty hot though... I am starting to wonder whether or not it was made to transfer that kind of rate at which my DSL does... Half of the time in order for me to connect to a server with players on it, I have to create my own server, play a few rounds with bots, and then pull up my server list and just double click a server and watch it connect.... It seems I have learned that I am not the only person having this issue, someone I met playing CSS earlier said the exact same thing happens to him.

Anyways, I seem to be dragging on and on with each post, so....let me leave you guys temporarily with another side note:

The wisecracks in this clan never cease to amaze me xP I think that's why everyone meshed so well (Asides from a select few, so I hear)
