I have never played a C&C :p
If I were going to...."pick one up," which should I get to try it out?

dante, pick up an old Battle Chest type thing like from a gamestop (used if poss). Its a real time strategy like starcraft or warcraft, but its generally closer to reality (tanks, planes, infantry, etc) you build bases, assets, troops, fleets, and participate in campaign missions and multiplayer matches. if you go too far back in the series its kinda simple and maybe boring, depending how good you are at multitasking i would say bad to good:
red alert 1
tiberium wars

Alright, thanks man. I'll try it out. I've played some starcraft and a little WW3, so this may be fun.

the only game I have that is sort like this is, "Act of War: Direct Action". My son got it for me on Christmas '06. I maybe played 3 hrs into it, then ol' Shangus Kahn saw what I was doing, and toke over the game. I think he about had the game completed, but the time I moved out.
I like it, it has alot of real time footage, and graphics are fairlly decent,(well at the time I had a POS pc, but they still looked good on it). I may have to try my hand at it again.
I just like first person shooters, and racing games. This type of game requires alot more effort. Perhaps I'm just lazy,....ya, that's it. I'm just too damn lazy. I want to join a game, and go, "bang bang bang", not have to plot out every little thing and then wait and see what happens. I'm not old enough to just sit down and be that patient.
But, if I was more into games like that, I would saw it rocks. IDK anything about C&C games. I havent even looked at them when I'm out shooping for games.
