I made this map as a gun game map, but with a bomb plant to give part of the map a reason to be there.
I am pretty new to mapping and this is the first map I am fully content with and done with :) and I want to guys to try it out and give me some feed back.

anyone like it?
Water doesn't work in gungame. And our server has objectives disabled.
Learn to use some of the cooler tools in Hammer to make the map more interesting visually (but keep crap off the floor to get stuck on)
I will give it a play, honestly I've been pretty busy doing other random stuff that I completely forgot about your map. Sorry!

Alright, I have a version without the objective in it, and it will be easy to remove the water.
As for more interesting I'm guessing you mean curved walls and realistic textures? I did make a map of an iPod Nano and a lincoln log house together for gg and gave it to 30. My comp got all messed up and I lost the file, but 30 should still have it, ask him if you want to see it

Visually interesting really has to do more with shapes and siloets(sp?) than with textures. If you can take a picture from a normal view point and make it look interesting in someway, you are doing good. From the pictures you took, this doesn't seem to be the case. Also, having simple rectangles for paths that just float in midair seems pretty juvenille when talking about map design.

I know, what you mean, but it's gun game, I didn't think many people would care...
well, I understand. I will do what I can to make the map better fisually (sp?) and remove what doesn't work. Thanks for the feed back!

Yea, true, as long as you have a fun design, the visuals can take a back seat.
