I just got done making an Incubus mix, only the good mellow songs to chill out and relax to, here is my mix:

the warmth
quicksand
dig
warning
southern girl
drive
stellar
are you in?
echo
i miss you
anna molly
love hurts
make yourself
oil and water
when it comes
pardon me

Enjoy! :D If you ever want to get into some heavier stuff let me know,I could point you in the direction of some good hardcore or beatdown stuff to workout to haha. Such as: http://youtube.com/watch?v=aRaPUBquAEk

try Hopesfall or Poison the well they are about as hardcore as you can get before deathmetal, I want kind of a mellow reggea hiphop alternative mix haha Listen the Mattafix and you will understand.

I always stay clear of these topics because the music I like is by groups that were singing before many here were born.

Hey old guys we could start our own thread that says "Old farts music club". I think we have enough of us here to actualy compete.

Do you just listen to the beats or do you actually listen to what they say pink.

Fort Minor is a good band if you actually listen to what they say. T-pain is shit. but i your other stuff isnt to bad pink.

sorry rain :tj

My tastes are pretty diverse. The only requirement I have, really, is that the music is neither country or rap. There's a little bit of leeway for rap, I guess, but not much.

The Killers are pretty good--just be warned that their music is nowhere near as hardcore as their name would imply. I only really like Hot Fuss overall as an album. Sam's town and Sawdust both have some good songs, but overall they fall short.

If you're into truly strange music, I suggest a band called Unkle--Start with the album Unkle and go straight to War Stories. Neverneverland (their second album) is shit.

Queens of the Stone Age are pretty good. Era Vulagris is a badass album.

Muse's Black Holes and Revelations is good.

You said you don't like Metallica. Nevermind there, then.

If you're looking for hardcore, Gwar and Children of Bodom are worth checking out.

As for older stuff, Machine Head (album) by Deep Purple is pretty good; any Blue Oyster Cult rocks; Meddle is an older album by Pink Floyd that's worth checking out; Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast is a good album too.

The Decemberists is a newer band that's pretty good. Dunno what album to start on. They're more accoustic, and have a good sound, but if you're not into bands with really good lyrics, you'll likely not like them.

Cake's Prolonging the Magic is worth listening to.

Hope that helps.
