So from what I understand fomr this is that your buying a 2nd video card and SLI'ing them correct? If you are NOT doing that with the stuff your buying then you are insane! As for the the Ram I personally would look into more of a cheaper priced case, maybe in the 100-200's, and get a better type of ram like: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227199. Overall I love what I see for this system.

Oh and heres some suggestions for the case:

or

Both great cases and you can still liquid cool but they have huge fans and are designed for gaming.

go with different motherboard, probably this one as it supports 1600mhz FSB to help future proof your system, as well as up to DDR2 1200. ALSO stay AWAY from open box items, as its a 15 day return for refund only policy AND
"If you purchase an Open-Box product you will receive an OEM BAREBONE item, meaning you will only receive the item itself. Accessories are NOT INCLUDED with Open-Box products, even if the missing accessory is required for the item to function properly."

get this ram here, for $14 more (after rebates from your link) you get 2 2GB sticks of DDR2 1000 dual channel.

scrap the SOUND card, if you play with a headset, which you better, get a USB headset with soundcard built in, i use a plantronics .audio 550 DSP, but they have some newer ones http://www.plantronics.com/europe_union/en_GB/products/cat1200109/cat1200104

also don't forget a power supply, here is a nice modular 700 watt

have edited this thing 20 times now. lastly dont forget the os, Vista Ultimate FTW!

one more time, dont forget anti-virus software, AVG anti-malware edition, im a reseller so if you want a copy you can save $7 ($40 for 2 years) lol, not that its matters with your budget!

I like what fearless has but I personally don't think boosting up the mobo to be able to accept ddr2 1000 is thaaaaaaaat sugnificant. I personally say stick with what you thought of already but if you wanna be ready for possible upgrades go with fearless. My only thing is that if your looking for futur proofing your system you might as well bypass the ddr2 and go straight with a mobo that gives ddr3.

main thing on the motherboard i posted was the 1600mhz fsb, so he will be able to use new intel processors that are already coming out in the server line with the faster fsb. I am stuck with a 1066 fsb on my mobo so the fastest i could go was my e6700, had i gotten a 1333fsb mobo i would be able to use the new 45nm 3+ghz line of processors that run cooler and have more L2 cache.

oh, the mobo i posted supports up to ddr2 1200, but like tembel said isnt a very big deal, but the next line of processor support is

Ahhh i guess i missed the fsb part of your post, but now rereading it i see it was like the very first thing you said. Fear makes a great point, now it just depends on, are you a person that tends to upgrade one thing at a time or are you like me and you just tend to buy multiple things to upgrade all at once.
