Problem connecting to server...

So the other morning I openned up CSS... Went to get on the GG server and it gave me an error... "Error verifying steam id ticket" and sent me back to my find servers menu... Closed out CSS and Steam.... Tried it again, same problem... I could go to other servers, just not RS... Bout 10 minutes later I tried again, and got on... Don't know if it was the server or me, but thought I would post and see...

It's an issue with steam. Steam is, as the name suggests, a steaming pile of ostrich crap.

So, yea, all you can really do is wait it out.

i know this is old but the fix for this is to not exit steam or restart your computer. You just log out of steam and log back in and its fixed.

I've had cases where that doesn't work and the only way to fix it is to delete a cache file. I won't say which, Google knows, and I don't want to be "responsible" for hosing someones steam installation.

yeah i saw that as well. They say to logout/re login before you do that. The login has always worked for me.
