Just banned

Hello guys, Optimetrics here. I was banned from your CS:S server a few minutes ago. I wasn't hacking. I think I was banned for firing on the elites fast? That's what Datman was complaining about. I have a pretty junky mouse, and if I don't click high up on it double clicks. Casing it to fire fast.

I've been playing on your server for a couple weeks now, and have gotten along decently well with your members. I hope this issue can be resolved.

It's true, Optimetrics has a pretty junky mouse, and quite frankly, shooting fast is in no
way a hack. Now I've seen a bunch of hacks and know them and their signs, and
Optimetrics in no way had any sign of an autoclicker. I hope you guys see this through
and unban my buddy here.

I think it was Da Bears. I can see how it may look a like a hack. So, no harsh feelings on my end.

It definetly looks like some sort of modification, you fire faster than the server can make the sounds, it's an unfair advantage. Never had a problem with you in the past, but that was pretty insane shooting.

It was only a 30 min. ban so you can "fix" your problem.

op are you runnin a macro for the elites? that could be as many people do if they have the correct hardware to do it. others within the clan use it and even though technically it is unfair in a way it's still allowed. we would appreciate it if you didnt use it if that is the case though.

nah, I have a crappy mouse. I roll my index and middle fingure (Too much paintball). But, I tried right clicking on my server. It isn't too hard. Resolved.

Ill Back up Da BEARS on this, You say you have a shitty mouse but ive seen you fire the elites and it has script written all over it. Get a new mouse, get rid of the script. and quit bitchin, it was a 30 min. ban

I've played with this guy a few times...(yes i get on cs every couple of months now)...doesnt seem like a script...just shoots fast...

I hit my left button on my mouse as if I were playing bass...causing me to shoot faster than most...its only a 30 min. ban and he has changed over to right button for shooting...

Uhmm....seems to me that people leave their 2 cents in any of the forums whether they are asked to or not, but I think Devoti was completely justified in his post. No reason to get on his case just cuz he wanted to state his opinion.
As to the speed shooting I've seen people do it without a macro and I know a few people who use it so don't really see where the problem is.

I have no problem with your opinion...but you shouldn't bark out orders at this guy like that...its in bad taste as an app or as a full fledged member...

As far as I'm concerned Devoti was stating his opinion on THIS subject.

As for the macro or what ever the hell it is: You are changing the way the game functions, and that's not how it's intended to be played.

If all it was, was a crappy mouse, and you're using a different button now, I apologize for the inconvenience.
