Ok, So I bought a Wii, for the kids of course (like I'm into playing games still, HA)

Anyway... I have heard a bunch of people say good and bad things about the games that are offered.. So what is everyones opinions on some good games for it??? Some that the kids and I can both play....

Thanks in advance...

hopefuly they are old enough to play mature games, get Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, they even made this one two player. However, it sent my 2 year old screaming to her room when she wondered out and saw zombies just poppin outta nowhere.

Football games such as Madden you lose interest in game before even figuring it out, which sucks, because I love football.

Pink is 100% correct, Mario Party 8 is probably the best family game out there for the Wii.

Warning, DO NOT BUY CARNIVAL GAMES, it blows a$$.

Make sure you buy Wii Play to get another controller with it for almost free.

Haven't played it but i've heard Mario Strikers Supercharged is a sweet game also.

Hope this has been helpful for you. Enjoy your family Wii, i'm positive your kids will. The best advice I can give you is since you are probably going to be using this as a christmas present is to buy a gift card for your kids at say, Gamestop, then on the 23rd or 24th, hit up a video game store and rent a variety of 4-5 games, let the family decide that way, it'll be cheaper in the long run for you and ensure you don't buy a game you cannot enjoy.Oh, Mario and sonic Olympic Games, and Super Mario Galaxy.....

http://www.nintendo.com/games/guide#qhardware=Wii&qesrbRating=&qplay=&qgenre=&qrelease=&panel=qhardware This sorts them by "biggest buzz" too bad it doesn't show game clips.

This is plain and simple get your kids zelda, mario party and mario galaxy. That away it doesnt matter what age they are they will enjoy it.

If you do have some kids who are a lil more prone to violent games i suggest umbrella chronichles like creeping said.

So out of those 4 games you should be pretty damn well off. O also dont forget that the wii comes with wii sports, which is to damn addiciting as well :D

Sweet.... Thanks for all of the replies..

My kids are 2(3 in Feb.), 6 and 7... My 6 year old loves violent games... He begs me every day to play CSS... IDK.. Prolly wont let him play just yet.. They do liket he original Zelda games from SNES, so that should be a good choice...

Anybody know how the new Tony Hawk is?? My 6 year old loves the shit out of some skateboards...

Thanks ppl!

The new tony hawks aren't.....pg? I dunno what yall do about sensoring for kids, but the newer ones seem to be a bit more aimed towards an older crowd compared to the first few. As a game I heard it was pretty good.
