Regulars and Admins Abusive

I recently joined your server under the name " ". It's just blank. It's a neat little trick I found, I basically appear without a name in the game. So that's who I am.

Anyway, earlier today I joined your server and immediately two self-proclaimed "regulars" ( sr rain and teh_leet_something ) started cussing at me because my name "was annoying". You know, things like "F*** off" and "GTFO and get a name, faggot", etc. All I did was enter the game! I briefly changed my name to SCREW YOU FAGGOTS because, to be honest, I was pissed at these two "regulars" for cussing me out for no reason (I soon changed back to the old name and apologized). If I had joined with the offensive name in the first place I would have drawn less heat then what I got for having no name. I don't get what the big deal is. Is there another guy with the name " " that's been hacking and flaming on your server? If so, I apologize, that guy isn't me. I just joined to have some fun at nobody's expense- I had no intention to hack, flame, or otherwise cause trouble.

[RS]Johnny joined a bit later, and all was well for a couple of rounds. Then Johnny beat some other guy in a knife fight. I hit y and typed "nice". Two seconds later, I get kicked without explanation. I rejoin and enter spec (maybe i was playing wrong?), and when he dies I ask him about why I was kicked and the following conversation happened:

Me: why was i kicked?
Johnny: because i kicked you.
Johnny: that's what happens when you get kicked.
Me: what were the reasons for kicking me? i did nothing wrong. in fact, budday and rain were flaming me for no reason earlier
STEAM: You have been kicked by admin.

There were no other [RS] members on when I was kicked, so I'm sure it was Johnny, unless you have admins that aren't in [RS] or don't wear the tag.

Now, direct quotes from the clan rules that I found in the forum:
"[RS] is a mature clan..."
"[RS] does not tolerate offensive language or racial slurs or demeaning language. Can you trash talk to your best friend and clan mate? SURE, I love to!! However we ask you to use common sense in what you say and who you say it around. ..."

And one from the section marked Protocols:

As stated before, this is a clan for mature gamers, and if you feel the need to persecute, harass, or bombard someone, then you are within spitting distance of being clanless. There is no need to harass someone on any of our media, no person should feel persecuted, or that they need to AVOID the forums, or vent, or a particular server just because someone is on there and that person harasses them. ALL members should feel free to visit all clan locations without hesitation. Again this kind of behavior is simply unwarranted, and will be punished. ..."

I very strongly feel that neither the clan members nor the regulars on the GunGame Reverse!!! [RS] server give these rules and protocols any merit or consideration whatsoever. They have left me sitting here confused, frustrated, and angry. Again, all I wanted to do was play CS:S with some decent, fun-loving people. I'm not nieve- I understand that there are going to be some idiots running around and causing trouble. But in about 10-20 minutes on your server, I met with two regulars AND an admin who I could classify as said idiots. If my having no name bothers you guys so much, then I'd be happy to change it, but I feel the behavior displayed was totally inappropriate and unnecessary.

Hopefully this was an isolated incident, and everyone was in a bad mood or whatever, or perhaps you guys have a problem with a guy who also uses a blank name while hacking, flaming, TKing, etc. and I'm just an innocent victim who just so happened to have the wrong name in the wrong place at the wrong time. Again, if that's the case then I apologize for wasting your time and causing an uproar. Thanks for your time- I'll try and not make such a huge wall of text in the future. :p

You managed to spend what I would approximate to be around 130 times more time making that initial post than it would take to accomodate the polite request that was made of you in the server. I was tempted to demand that you post everything that was said during in-game chat before I respond, but I realized that your failure to pay attention to detail, some sort of learning dissability, as well as your apparent hearing impairment would prevent you from posting ALL that was said. For an example you convienantly left out the numerous times you were spoken to as well as messaged, politely, to use some kind of identification while you were in our server. Naturally, you didn't respond. I understand now that it was no fault of your own. Your genetic disposition towards sub-normal mental capacity was preventing you from understanding what was going on.

If you were talking to me on mic, I couldn't hear you because I have mic recieve turned off because it's too much work to mute every individual retard that spams on the mic. I came into your server and before one round even finished, Rain and Budday had both cussed me out via keyboard. If you had typed me a request to change my name politely, I would have gladly put my name back to what it was before I learned the no name trick. However, you failed to think that maybe I wasn't ignoring you, I just couldn't hear you because I entered the server with mic turned off. From my point of view, there was no politeness involved- just flaming, and later, being kicked without explanation. If you perhaps had given a reason when I returned and asked you why I had been kicked instead of being sarcastic, perhaps we could have figured out that I couldn't hear you and yes I will gladly change my name, sorry for the misunderstanding.

To be quite honest, there is no "big fancy rule" or such against not having a name when you join a server. But that type of behavior draws quick attention and is viewed as suspect. If your so new to the game that you don't know why, I suggest you study up on it. However, I don't believe you to be so new to the game that you wouldn't understand why you were on the receiving end of such hostility when joining our server with a blank name field. Blank came and very diplomatically posted a thread asking about possible admin abuse and being kicked. Yes it was polite only he left out the damaging details.

Then the following responded:

Tembel - Very diplomatic and polite nothing negative
Blank - replies back
IcePick - Laughs at Johnny's actions not Blank

Tail - responds to Glen joke about Icepick

Now So far I haven't seen a single negative comment. So help me here if I am wrong.

Hellsing "None Member" - Post "well i heard from rain and bink that you were being an asshat" Now the use of the word a**hat is inappropriate. He a none member was only relaying what he had heard on ventrilo.
Tail - confirms that he heard the basically the same thing
Rain "None member" - Post that he had asked that he put up a name and that is when he put up "faggots" as a name.

Now for the serious part:
Johnny - replies confronting him on the issue in his way blunt and if you wish harsh.
Blank - responds admitting to things he failed to admit to when he started this thread about admin abuse "changed my name to SCREW YOU FAGGOTS and said up yours". He also is just as guilty of harshness in that he accusses johnny of being third gradeish.

Ninja kitty - Chimes in to address a comment Johnny made.
Randy - Jokes about the third graders comment . If you are unaware its an inside joke. It had no bearing or meaning in the thread itself other than a joke.
Bears - mentions that blank is not a clan member
Johnny - Responds again this time first he basically gives the exact reasons for being kicked by quoting what blank admitted he said. Then goes on to demostrate to blank exactly why he recieved the attitude using Blanks own words as quotes. He did not call him any names.

SSLJ - responds sarcastic but jokingly to johnny.
Chemo - responds that johnny has explained why you got kicked that was the punishment for the attitude just except it.
Hellsing "none Member" - responds laughing at how johnny demostrated blanks faults.
Creep - responds jokingly to SSLJ
Hal - responds politly and politically stating to blank suck it up your not banned and a kick was warranted at that time.

Now other than your last two post Kitty only Chewy and Bears responded and niether were negative.

You took it apon your self to stand up for blank against everyone here believing that they are all out to get him when in reality none of this is in the post. In fact he is told several times by members to just let it go and come back to the server he isn't banned.

So who is the mature ones here? Blank was asked to add a name. He claims he couldn't hear them because his in game voice is off but yet he changed his name to "Faggots" Then says "Up Yours". He gets kicked NOT BANNED" Then complains about abuse.
Personaly I seldom use my admin and find myself very tolorate of players comments on the server but had he told me "Up Yours" I would have banned him instantly.

He was only kicked as punishment. He has been told he was welcome back on the server many times in this thread. He has been refussing that invitation as though he is looking for a fight. The only member in this entire thread that really states anything that could be considered negative attitude towards Blank is Johnny. The part that could be considered negative is the actual confrontation of what happened. I think you need to read what is really posted.

Now to explain what I thought, cuz I was in vent and did join the game just to see if anything was wrong then left. Seems to me that nothing really was said too harshly (come on we're all either adults are later teens) and I think we can all get over it. Now Johnny has the right as admin and long time member of the clan to kick whoever he pleases especially if they are bothering people in the server in some way. Personally I don't think the big deal was that there was a blank name, but the fact that you wouldn't listen to something that the admin asked you to do. Asking to add a name isn't very difficult to do by anyones means and Johnny seemed to relize this and kick as a warning (you can just immediately rejoin and put a name on.) This may be considered admin abuse in someone coming to our server as a guest, but sometimes you gotta do what your asked to make everyone happy...

just my thoughts thinkin this could just kinda die out being as it isn't too big of a deal. *blank* is welcome whenever he wants just put a name on :)\

now i wasnt there in the game, but from what i saw in the forums he doesnt seem like hes the kind of guy to cause trouble, and it seems like hes a good person- even though he feels like hes the one whos been wronged, he took the time to come here and apologize. he gave you the benefit of the doubt. he wants to "make amends" and "get along", even after you guys keep yelling at him. yes, it easier to point fingers and blame the new guy, but taking it this far is just stupid. i think you all need to take a step back and look at how your treating this guy, and if he really deserves it. and if you can't or won't, then you definately need to reexamine the kind of person you are and how you live your life.

Especially in cases where you were not privy to the conflict in any way, shape, or form. You have shared your "cough" "cough" wisdom with us and advised us to all go meditate on these "faults", so to speak, that you have assigned onto us. I wonder if you realize how incredibalyl arogant you are being by forming and voicing these opinions when you were not witness, to ANYTHING, that happened.

Additionally, what you don't realize, is that this type of individual and his actions in the server and later on our forums is something of a regular occurance. Ignorant, antagonistic, abusive, individuals with nothing but malevolant intent join the server regularly. They perform some sort of dissruptive act and then complain when there are reprocussions. My personal theory behind these acts is that these are individuals who have some sort of huge void in their lives and are only able to interact with others through anonymous conflict due to some huge emotional and probably mental defficiency. Of course they present their side of the story on the fourms in an articulate and organized manner. They have had time to cool down, organize their thoughts, and come up with the most self flattering way of presenting the argument.

I don't argue with these people, attempt to validate any sort of factual list or timeline, nor do I defend my actions. I don't need to. They screwed up, they got kicked/banned. I was there, I saw it, I took action. Thats how it works.
Now I have my own words of wisdom for you Ninjakitty. You have the right to voice your opinions, as do I. My opinion is you should shut the fuck up and talk about what you know, now what you think happened based on what some moron posts in the forums. My understanding is that you applied to be a member of this clan. What in the wide world of fucking sports makes you think that you are anywhere close to being someone that we want to have around if it is nothing but a guarantee to be bombarded with whinning, nagging, and constant lack of loyalty towards the clan. Blank came and very diplomatically posted a thread asking about possible admin abuse and being kicked. Yes it was polite only he left out the damaging details.

Then the following responded:
Vash - Nothing negative and polite
Hellsing "None Member" - Nothing negative.
Tail - Joking towards johnny nothing negative towards blank
Tembel - Very diplomatic and polite nothing negative
Blank - replies back
IcePick - Laughs at Johnny's actions not Blank
Chemo - Friendly and politly says just let it go and come back and have fun no biggy.

Now So far I haven't seen a single negative comment. So help me here if I am wrong.

Hellsing "None Member" - Post "well i heard from rain and bink that you were being an asshat" Now the use of the word a**hat is inappropriate. He a none member was only relaying what he had heard on ventrilo.
Tail - confirms that he heard the basically the same thing
Rain "None member" - Post that he had asked that he put up a name and that is when he put up "faggots" as a name.

Now for the serious part:
Johnny - replies confronting him on the issue in his way blunt and if you wish harsh.
Blank - responds admitting to things he failed to admit to when he started this thread about admin abuse "changed my name to SCREW YOU FAGGOTS and said up yours". He also is just as guilty of harshness in that he accusses johnny of being third gradeish.

Ninja kitty - Chimes in to address a comment Johnny made.
Randy - Jokes about the third graders comment . If you are unaware its an inside joke. It had no bearing or meaning in the thread itself other than a joke.
Bears - mentions that blank is not a clan member
Johnny - Responds again this time first he basically gives the exact reasons for being kicked by quoting what blank admitted he said. Then goes on to demostrate to blank exactly why he recieved the attitude using Blanks own words as quotes. He did not call him any names.

SSLJ - responds sarcastic but jokingly to johnny.
Chemo - responds that johnny has explained why you got kicked that was the punishment for the attitude just except it.
Hellsing "none Member" - responds laughing at how johnny demostrated blanks faults.
Creep - responds jokingly to SSLJ
Hal - responds politly and politically stating to blank suck it up your not banned and a kick was warranted at that time.

Now other than your last two post Kitty only Chewy and Bears responded and niether were negative.

You took it apon your self to stand up for blank against everyone here believing that they are all out to get him when in reality none of this is in the post. In fact he is told several times by members to just let it go and come back to the server he isn't banned.

So who is the mature ones here? Blank was asked to add a name. He claims he couldn't hear them because his in game voice is off but yet he changed his name to "Faggots" Then says "Up Yours". He gets kicked NOT BANNED" Then complains about abuse.
Personaly I seldom use my admin and find myself very tolorate of players comments on the server but had he told me "Up Yours" I would have banned him instantly.

He was only kicked as punishment. He has been told he was welcome back on the server many times in this thread. He has been refussing that invitation as though he is looking for a fight. The only member in this entire thread that really states anything that could be considered negative attitude towards Blank is Johnny. The part that could be considered negative is the actual confrontation of what happened. I think you need to read what is really posted.

You were kicked, not banned. Suck it up and get over it. If you were kicked, you were most likely doing something wrong, so clean up your act and you're more than welcome to come back in the server. Follow the rules and you'll be fine. It's like going into another person's home; you follow that person's rules. What happens when you don't? You get kicked out, plain and simple. Don't like the rules? There's plenty of other servers out there you are free to visit.

Everyone's entitled to his or her opinion, whether it's bad, good, irrelevant, whatever. Though it'd be in his or her best interest to do so in moderation. Remember other people may or may not agree with your opinion and you may get unwanted responses.

ok so being that i wasnt here, im an official outside opinion. blank is wrong, and knew it. he gloated from the start about knowing his secret, he had, in his mind, an exploit. no it doesnt give him an advantage or power really, but reading his post i can picture gargumel rubbing his hands together after finally catching a smurf.

now the fact that he at any point changed his name to tell off people who told him to get a real name and then changed it back shows he had no intention of changing it even if an admin had asked pretty please

also the fact that he quotes our rules, but fails to read them and understand them irks me. because he missed that whole part about racial or sexual slurs, cus he bragged about changing his name to f*****s, boy youre a charmer arent you.

Also, if you go into a server, and regulars tell you to do something or not do something, then you might want to listen, cus theyve been around the block, they know whats acceptable. Disrespecting them is in a way, disrespecting us.

Johnny, oh johnny, reading your posts brought a tear to my eye, out of all the things i missed over the last two months, you are at the top. Its like reading a story about mike tyson beating the shit outta a quadraplegic midget. Many people dont get you, just like some dont get randy, but you are awesome. to anyone who doesnt know, johnny is/was in law enforcement, he went to school, trained, and worked at investigating, accumulating evidence, and taking trash out. He doesnt often make mistakes, and id put my money on him over the other guy 999/1000. You may think hes a jerk or hates everyone, but after a while you just get good at reading people. Johnny doesnt need to let a guy start shooting bank tellers before he polietly asks them to stop, if he sees a guy walk into the bank with a mask and a gun out, hes gonna act, just like when i see a fat guy on a ladder with a chain saw leaning over to cut branches, i dont drive away, i get out my jump bag and sit in his driveway until he falls and cuts his lower arm off (last sat). The biggest problems johnny has are that he tends to let stress build up and carries over his anger from one incident to another(who doesnt from time to time) and that many of his own clan failed him by not standing by him as a leader and respecting/honoring his rank.
