New Halo server!!!!!!!

Ok I missed the old days when we had 2 halo servers. So I started up another all slayer server. Its a paid server from clanservers. I just finished doing initial setups and some basic maps and gametypes. Noshields of course!

Anyway its up and running I still need to tweak a few game types. I have it set up for all slayer no shields. Some team and some single player. Again its up and running but I am still setting up gametypes. Eventualy I want to get it like our old server mostly team slayer with an ocasional singles match.

I paid for the server for the next 6 months. After that I will either pick up the tab again or disolve it we don't seem to use it much.

I currently have it in Atlanta, Georgia being Johnny says we never locate the server near him. :D
I will be watching everyones average ping to see if we can leave it there or move it to another location.

You have to understand I live in the middle of nowhere jersey with no license -_-
checked the walmart near me and 2 gamestops and neither had halo or wc3 tft, but I may buy online if I can't find it soon : /

Stop pissin' about the show pace of halo... it's still a fun game in its own right.

Bears... Halo doesn't need a kickin' computer to play it. Honestly, CS:S is more taxing on a PC than Halo: Combat Evolved.

Ok I had to move the server.

I actualy got the server a few days ago and the ping was funny then. i thought maybe it was just a network issue that night but it bounced all over while we gamed tonight.

You can download a trial version of Halo: Combat Evolved for the PC, but you can only play the map Bloodgulch on it.

If you want the trial, it's here:

But other than that, no. You'll need to buy it in order to play every map online. But it's cheap, you can get it at Best Buy.

I will be picking up halo for the pc, even though i hardly even play halo 3 on my 360....... just to confirm, this is halo 1 for the pc and not halo2? if so, why not halo 2?

yes it is halo 1, and its cuz RS started as a halo clan for pc and halo 2 doesn't work on none vista if I remember correctly, but the clan liked halo 1 so if somethin aint broke dont fix it? :)

They went and noobified halo when they released Halo 2. Sure halo 1 is old but there is a reason why Halo became popular. If Halo 1 wasn't a good game they would have never came out with 2 & 3.

So yes as vash said we were founded on Halo 1 and its Halo 1 we all still play.
