Thinking of making a new spray, question for rat or hal. How do I get a moving one? take a few frames and throw em in flash or?

You want to make an animated gif

Google for that, and "open source" or "freeware" and you'll find something. The Gimp might even do it (no, that isn't Randy's bondage film).

the frames must be in .tga format to use in css otherwise .gif. You can use An animator such as Ulead Gif Animator to create a .gif from avi files and pictures.

As far as know valve will not except a gif file as a spray. If there is away to get a gif to work as a spray let me know becuse I wish it was that easy.

Anyway if you want to make an animated spray click our downloads link at the top of the forums and main page. I posted a program that will convert still images to an animated spray.

Trueass is correct it needs TGA formated pics and under decent quality you have to keep it to only 4 pics/frames of 128*128. If you lower quality it does allow more but then its fuzzy. Typicaly its:
1 at 256*256
4 at 128*128
8 at 64*64

They have to be one of those size dimensions or it will not compile.
